How do I obtain an Agreed Value?

Can accessories be added to my motorcycle?

Accessories can be added to your insurance policy at any time. Any accessories must be advised to us and noted on your Certificate of Insurance. This will ensure coverage and replacement in the event of a claimable event where damage is sustained to these items.

Am I covered to ride my motorcycle on a racetrack or closed road?

Your motorcycle is not covered whilst being tested in preparation for or engaged in any racing, pacemaking, hill climbing, reliability trials, rallying, speed tests or any other similar motor sporting event.

Would my motorcycle gear be covered under the policy?

In the event of an Accident giving rise to a claim, We will cover Your Riding Gear, if it is lost or damaged in the Accident up to a limit of $1,500 for any one item (or a pair) with a maximum of $3,000 on any one claim.

There is no cover for loss or damage to Your Riding Gear as a result of theft.

What is lay-up?

Lay-up changes the cover for Your Motorcycle under the Policy, it is restricted to loss or damage occurring while Your Motorcycle is within the gates, walls, or fences of Your home address as specified on Your Certificate of Insurance, other than during the period midnight Friday night to midnight on the next Sunday night (these times and days are those which are applicable at the home address). This restriction gives You a discounted premium and only applies during the Lay Up Cover period specified on the Certificate of Insurance.

Can anyone ride my motorcycle?

Your insurance policy will provide coverage for your motorcycle to be ridden by anyone you provide permission to.

No change is required to your insurance policy and no extra premium will be charged. Anyone who becomes a regular rider during the period of insurance, should be noted to your insurance policy by contacting our customer service team via the below link.
